Day 1: Arrive in Zanzibar Airport

Arrive in Zanzibar, meet by our guide/driver and greet at Zanzibar Airport

Transfer to a hotel/lodge at Stone Town

Have a Zanzibar tour briefing by our professional guide at the hotel/lodge

Leave you to rest and prepare for tomorrow

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge in Stone Town

Day 2: Prison Island and Tortoise Tour

After breakfast pick up by our driver for Prison Island tour

We drive to Zanzibar Stone Town to take our boat to Prison island

Prison Island was a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland

Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises

You will have time to visit forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies

The beautiful coral reef here, is ideal for snorkeling, and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing

This tour is a great way to see some history and wildlife, and also to see Stone Town from the sea

As this is the half day trip after 2 or 3 hrs we will take our boat for a ride back

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge in Stone Town

Day 3: Full day Jozani Forest and Dolphins Tour

After breakfast we drive to Kizimkazi fishing village for a dolphin tour

After arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins

If we lucky we can use about 5 to 10 minutes cruising on search of dolphins

After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkelling before getting back to the beach for taking shower

Have lunch and a bit of beach leisure

After leisure we drive to Jozani forest to see the red colubus monkeys and visit the floating mangrove bridge

Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative

A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer

After the tour we drive back to a hotel/lodge in Stone Town

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge

Day 4: Full Day Stone Town Shopping and Spice Farms

After breakfast pick up for City Tour to the historic sites of Stone Town and shopping in the Antique and gift shops

A guided town tour takes you through narrow streets of the old Stone Town, where history seems to stand still

Visit the House of Wonders, Fredy Mercury House, the Arab Fort, Zanzibar’s bustling market, former slave market, Tip Tipp House, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors and balconies, two cathedrals and many mosques.

Have lunch at Mtoni Marine Restaurant and after lunch proceed to Spice farms looking for spices and tropical fruits

Thereafter transfer to the beach hotel/lodge

Have dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/hotel

Day 5: Second full day Stone Town and Spice Tours

Another day city tour to Zanzibar’s colorful market

Its alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices

We will continue to the site of a cathedral built in 1874 then to the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip’s House, the former British Club, the Old Fort and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary

Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town

Have lunch at Mtoni Marine Restaurant and after lunch we drive to the spice plantations for the spice tour

Guaranteed to awaken your senses, we will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savour fruits and spices

This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils

Thereafter transfer to a hotel/lodge in Stone Town

Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/lodge in Stone Town

Day 6: Transfer to Seaport/Airport

After breakfast you will be transfer to the Seaport/Airport to catch your flight back home or to continue with your own arrangement
